Bid supports Polo Event for Autism
BiD the regions first dedicated company formation event supports the Dubai Luxury Homes Horsepower Competition, all proceeds benefiting the Dubai Autism Centre.
On Friday April 4 2008 over 2,000 of Dubai’s society attended The Dubai Luxury Homes Horsepower Challenge 2008, in aid of Dubai Autism Centre where some of the region’s most exclusive luxury names came together, families and friends enjoyed picnics on the lawn whilst watching world class polo players battle it out the Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club.
The action packed day incorporating polo, powerboats and super cars, saw an exciting afternoon filled with chukkas as the girls team, featuring former super model Jodie Kidd, defeated the boys in the battle of the sexes match sponsored by BiD. Spectators were lucky enough to experience polo players of the highest quality in the feisty exhibition match where Justo del Carril led Argentina to victory against Henry Brett, former England Captain and the rest of the England team. AED100,000 was donated in aid of Dubai Autism Centre.
